Frequently Asked Questions Regarding the Conference.
*Which group is hosting the conference? The conference is hosted by SouthEast VSG Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation. Admission is FREE but you must register at www.southeastvsg.com via Eventbrite.
*What is the cost of parking? The Westin has no self parking so you must use Valet Parking which is discounted to $15.00 per day or there is parking directly across the street in the City Parking garage for $7.00 per 24 hour period.
*Will there be any type of Meet & Greet? Yes , it's on Thursday evening from 7p-9p at Citron el Sel in the patio area, 212 West 8th Street. It's located across the street from the hotel. Each person is responsible for their meal.
*Are any meals included in the conference fee? The banquet is included with your fee and coffee will be available each morning between 8-9:30am.
*Is there a theme for the banquet? Yes, it's the Wild Wild West and costume is not mandatory. We will have dinner, dancing and a Photobooth, along with door prizes.
*Is the venue handicapped accessible? Yes, the venue is handicapped accessible.
*Is there a discounted rate for attendees? The Westin hotel rate is now closed however there are several hotels within a mile of the hotel. You can take UBER or LYFT if you don't want to drive from the other hotels
*Is the conference only for sleeve patients? The conference is for anyone who has had any type of weight loss surgery.
*What are the conference hours? Registration opens at 8am and the conference will start at 9am both day's. The schedule of speakers will be inside your conference booklet which you will receive at registration.
*Are children allowed? No one under 18 is allowed to attend the general or breakout sessions.
*When will I receive my tickets? Tickets will not be required if you signed up on Eventbrite. If you are not sure, please email email@example.com and they will verify if you are registered.
*What is the conference dress code.? Dress comfortably and you may want to bring a jacket since seminar rooms may get a bit chilly.
